Eligibility
Candidates must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification:
- JE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical): Degree or 3-year Diploma in respective engineering discipline.
- JE (Telecom): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, CS, IT, or Instrumentation.
- Scientific Assistant (IMD): Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics) or in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Telecommunication.
Age Limit: Generally up to 30 years for most posts; up to 32 years for specific departments like CPWD and Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships.
